The Sands Restaurant
Set within the stunning Glass Pavilion, a lovingly-restored 1930s bathing shelter, and taking its name from the fondly-remembered Sands nightclub, The Sands Restaurant could just as easily have been named after the awe-inspiring beach views from its outdoor patio, which make it the perfect place to relax with a delicious meal or snack, enjoy sweeping views of Broughty Ferry Beach and the river Tay, watch ships and jet-skiers and perhaps even spot some playful dolphins.
Plenty of thought has gone into making The Sands Restaurant dog-friendly, and it’s the ideal stop-off point for dog-walkers, with handy out-door kennels and the Oscar dog menu so four-legged friends don’t have to miss out!
The Sands Restaurant serves an exciting range of meals throughout the day, from breakfast to high tea; all lovingly-prepared using locally-sourced produce and with gluten-free options available. There’s a tempting new seafood menu, all-day grill and traditional menus, including a value-for money ‘Early Bird’ selection and afternoon tea with home-made scones (please book afternoon tea 24 hours in advance) as well as cakes, teas and coffees available all day. There’s even an outdoor children’s play area so little ones are happy and grown-ups can relax…Visit official site 01382 732 738
